SPARTAN 2023 - PART 2

Today, Sunday, January 29, 2023, continued my two-race Spartan weekend in San Bernardino, CA. Today’s race was the 5k Sprint, the shortest of the Spartan races. For reference, the color red is often associated with Sprint races and the medal. After completing the Super yesterday, I thought walking into the Sprint was going to be a piece of cake.

If you had asked me years ago if I ever had any interest in Spartan obstacle races, I would’ve laughed and never looked back. However, I got my first taste in 2022, and indeed, I haven’t looked back. I’m proudly hooked, and chasing races across the country (maybe even globe!).
